To participation units:
　International Horticultural Exposition 2006 Shenyang·China, which is hosted by Government of Liaoning Province, China Ministry of Construction, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China National Tourism Administration, China Association of Flowers, undertook by Shenyang Municipal Government, coordinated by China Association of View and Landscape and China Association of Park, will be held in Shenyang, Liaoning province, China, from May 1, 2006 to October 31, 2006.
International Horticultural Exposition 2006 Shenyang· China is the second international horticultural event that has been held in China. 100 exposition gardens have been planed, among which there are 23 international exposition gardens, 52 domestic exposition gardens, 25 professional exposition gardens, converging the most representative architecture styles and schools all over the world, demonstrating the quintessence of the art of Chinese urban landscape, integrating watching, education, and technology as an organic whole, and highlighting the theme of “We live with the nature harmoniously”.

　Referring to the practices of the past International Horticultural Exposition, under the arrangement of the organizing committee of International Horticultural Exposition 2006 Shenyang·China, “Activity of Awarding Prize to Exposition Garden of International Horticultural Exposition 2006 Shenyang·China” will be held during this International Horticultural Exposition. This activity will be organized and implemented by the organizing committee, with the establishments of prizes such as “Professional category prize for exposition garden”, “Construction management prize for exposition garden”, and “The most interesting prize for exposition garden”, etc. Prizes will be assessed by professional jury members or balloted through Internet. After the comparison and evaluation of the exposition garden taking part in the competition, the organizing committee will announce the results of the competition and award prizes to the winners.
